About the author...

Chara Caruthers is a passionate and outspoken advocate of the power of living your truth. She's a dedicated teacher and practitioner of the ancient healing science of Ayurveda. She's also a coach and wellness mentor for hyper-busy women who are aging too fast and killing themselves softly. Every. Single. Day.

Born and raised in Southern California, she spent years as a successful corporate engineer living in the fast paced environments of LA, New York, London and Sydney, before stepping away from it all in order to find her true voice and live a more authentic life.

Chara is thrilled to have lived on five continents and  shared the simple, practical beauty of Ayurveda with hundreds of thousands of health and wellness seekers. She's graced the global stages of online sources like Huffington Post and, GaiamTV and venues like the Wanderlust Festivals, and FoodMatters TV to share her passion for true wellness and her enduring belief about the key to REAL health and happiness...Know yourself, Love yourself .

Why I created this...

Because wellness isn’t easy!  And our relationship with the food we eat is a mirror of our relationship with ourselves and the world around us.  This is one of Ayurveda’s most powerful messages and embracing it is the foundation for creating a mind, body and life that you truly love!  

Ayurveda has been a game changer for me in every aspect of my life and I’ve had the privilege of seeing so many others transformed by it’s simple, practical and enduring truths.

I wrote this book to give anyone who’s ever struggled with finding a way to nourish themselves through any season or stage of life, the tools and permission to step off the rollercoaster of “one-size-fits-all” diets, and embrace a way of living and eating that is powerfully driven from within.  

I want people to understand that there’s another way to do this food thing... One that feels good, but that no one's really talking about.
